Newly acquired home in nice neighborhood - close to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. We are looking to make updates in the future, and are still trying to add some finishing touches, but wanted to make this home available to people this summer. This home is 1400 square feet. It has a master suite with queen size bed, twin size pull out sleeper chair, large closet and private full bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a pull down twin size Murphy bed and high quality queen size futon. The house was originally a two bedroom. The master bedroom and laundry area were an addition. Due to how the addition was designed, you need to pass through the bedroom with the futon to access the master addition. The main living/kitchen area is an open layout. There is a main kitchen table that seats 6, and a Jack Daniels barrel table with 4 barstools. There is a main 3/4 bath and a full wall of windows to enjoy the view of the main lake. Outside there is a gas grill, poly table and 6 chairs as well as 5 poly Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. The water is shallow enough to wade right out from the private dock or bring your boat and explore the 22,000 acre lake! There is a washer and dryer for your use and plenty of parking. Houghton lake has something for everyone - in the summer- boat, swim, fish or ride the trails with dirt bikes or ATVs. In the winter- ice fish or enjoy snowmobiling. Unfortunately for liability reasons, we don't rent our boat or jet-skis. 6. We understand accidents happen, please notify us promptly so we can remedy the situation timely. 7. Top bunk bed is provided for small children only and not suitable for adults. 8. Please dispose trash bags into large blue garbage bin outside of garage area. 9. Cameras are located outside to watch over house and boats. We will respect your privacy and cameras are in place for security and in cases of incidents.

Sun Shack is a newly remodeled 700 sq ft cottage with an open-concept floor plan and a HUGE view of the lake! You can enter safely with outside motion detected lights and a keyless entry (code to be sent prior to your stay). You will find the lake to be shallow off the dock with a sandy bottom, which is great for kids. Inside the cottage you will find space for everyone to be together as the kitchen and living room flow together in an open-concept. The kitchen is fully stocked, but please feel free to let us know if you are in need of something extra. The bathroom is equipped with lots of amenities just in case you may have forgot something. We offer shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. In addition to towels, wash cloths, TP, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, First Aid Kit, sunblock and bug spray. There is outdoor seating on the patio for 6. A fire pit, firewood, chairs, and a propane grill available. In the shed you will find lots of goodies, including paddles for the kayaks & paddle board; boogie boards; fishing poles, camping chairs and yard games. The bedrooms are cozy with a Smart TV in the master. As outlets are limited, we have supplied alarm clocks with 2 USB ports in each room for your convenience. White noise machines and eye masks ensure you will get a good night's sleep! In the closet you will find extra linens, beach towels, and pillows. We are located in a peaceful and quiet family-friendly neighborhood, so we ask that you are respectful of the neighbors and their property. During summer months (mid June through late August) we only rent the home weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Other times of the year, the home can be rented nightly with a two night minimum stay required. As one of the closest homes to the water, you will have perfect views of the lake from the living room, waterside bedroom, porch and sun deck when staying at The Ravens' Perch. The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large living space. The living room has plenty of seating. The kitchen, larger than most on the water, is fully equipped with high-end appliances, dishes, cookware and anything else you may need. Sleep soundly on a king bed in the master bedroom, queen beds in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms or on the bunk bed (double lower/twin upper) in the 4th bedroom. Each room (except the bunk room) has a full-size closet for plenty of storage space. All bathroom and bedroom linens are provided. A washer and dryer are also included. A new grill, outdoor furniture, and a fire pit are available for your enjoyment. If you grow tired of relaxing by the water, head to downtown Grayling for great restaurants, ice cream shops and boutiques or change direction to West Branch and do some outlet shopping! We have sold the property. ****This lakefront home is listed for sale.**** We should have 2 month notice prior to the new owners take ownership when and if this happens. This could be a long process of months or years. We hope this doesn't change your minds about renting but I totally understand. If your reservations gets cancelled and you are within 2 months of your reservation due to a new owner. You will get 100% refunded and additional $50/day payout to you (max $250.00) if new owner doesn't honor the reservations. Example - 4 day rental you will get $200.00 extra back if cancelled due to lake house being sold. This will begin for any reservations made after June 1st, 2020. I will negotiation to have them take over any reservations standing. Beautiful Ranch House on the biggest inland lake in Michigan. 81 Feet lake frontage. We have a sea wall with walk down ramp, 80 ft of dock to fish off steps into the water at the end of dock. We are in a sandy bed with very few weeds. Shallow for 200 feet out. The large yard is ideal for family get togethers with fire pit. The parking area is huge for extra guest and RV if needed. Driveway is located off from main drive (M-55) but house is tucked back 600ft on an acre parcel, very low road noises can be heard due to the distance from road. The Lakehouse is completely renovated. The house is modern lodge décor, feel like you are up north. This place is "top of the line" and you will enjoy every moment you are there. We have charter cable and even have unlimited high speed wireless Wi-Fi just in case you need to work from the Lakehouse. We do not allow dogs at this time.
